This is a full-time position in Red Deer. The wage range for this position is $18.00 – $38.00 per hour.

About the role
We are hiring a full-time machinist for our shop in Red Deer.
You will set up and run precision machining equipment to produce parts to tight tolerances, working from drawings and specifications.

Responsibilities
• Set up and operate CNC and/or manual machining equipment
• Read blueprints and interpret GD&T specifications
• Select tooling and set feeds and speeds appropriately
• Inspect finished parts using precision measuring instruments
• Perform routine maintenance on machines and tooling
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe shop area

Qualifications
• Journeyperson Machinist certification or equivalent experience
• Able to read blueprints and technical drawings
• Experience with CNC programming/editing an asset
• Experience with Gibbs Cam
• Experience with manual lathe/mill
• Comfortable using calipers, micrometers, and other precision tools
• Strong attention to detail and quality focus
