This is a full-time position in Red Deer County. The wage range for this position is $34.00 – $40.00 per hour.

About the role
• Are you a Journeyman Carpenter who knows concrete forming?
• Marshall Construction is a full-service concrete foundation company located in Red Deer County, Alberta. We are looking for a skilled, motivated Forming Carpenter to join our foundation construction crew.

Responsibilities
• Build & strip concrete forms – Doka, Strip-Ease, and Duraform.
• Perform layout, framing, and foundation carpentry duties
• Read and interpret blueprints and site layouts
• Measure, cut & install forming materials
• Work with a crew to hit production targets
• Maintain a safe, clean and productive worksite
• Help mentor and develop other crew and carpentry apprentices

Qualifications
• Journeyman Carpenter certification or equivalent experience
• 5 Years strong concrete forming & foundation experience
• Ability to read plans and perform accurate layouts
• Valid Class 5 driver’s license with clean drivers abstract and pass drug & alcohol test
• Strong work ethic and attention to detail
• Safety-first attitude and a team player who can also work independently
• Must be willing to work outdoors, out of town travel and work Saturdays as needed.
