Baker Nights (#210) - Didsbury, Alberta

This is a full-time position in Didsbury. The wage for this position starts at $17.30 per hour plus $3.65 night shift differential.

About the role
Directly responsible to the Dietary Supervisor of the assigned Lodge and the Site General Manager.
Baking and food preparation for Lodge residents.
Dishwashing and general cleaning of the kitchen and Food Service areas.

Responsibilities
• 14 shifts / 98 hours in a 28-day rotation, 0.61 FTE
• Hours of work: 7:00 p.m. to 2:00 a.m.
• Schedule: 4 days on / 5 days off, 5 days on / 4 days off on a rotational basis
• This position works 2 weekends per rotation

Qualifications
• A positive rapport with seniors, friendly and helpful team player.
• A flexible, willing and positive attitude.
• Experience in a commercial kitchen, as well as Food Safety knowledge and training would be assets.
• Must be physically able to perform lifting, bending and repetitive tasks.
• Company issued First Aid and Cardiac Pulmonary Resuscitation (CPR), to be renewed every three years.
• Must have a clear and current criminal record check.
