Regional Workforce Summit

The annual summit brought together employers, post-secondary partners and municipal leaders from across the corridor.

Discussion centred on the gap between where training seats exist and where hiring demand is growing fastest - particularly in the trades and healthcare.

Outcomes

Several partner commitments came out of the day, including expanded apprenticeship host capacity and a shared approach to newcomer credential support.
